Trap Leagues

The Club organizes and runs several leagues throughout the year. The most popular leage is the summer team trap league. Teams of 5 are sponsored by local businesses and are divided into an A and B division. The 20 week league shooting takes place on Wednesday nights from mid April through August. Shooters compete independently and shooting takes place on Wednesday nights. The club is also host to the Peninsula Youth Trap Team that competes in a 9 week spring league.

Pistol Leagues

The Club organizes and runs two pistol leagues between October and March. Large bore pistol starts in late October and ends around the first of the year. This is a 10 week league for anything center fire over .22 caliber. Small bore league starts after the first of the year and ends in late March. This is for rim fire .22 caliber only. Both leagues are each 10 weeks and take place on Wednesday nights.

Youth Education and Hunters Safety

The Peninsula Gun Club is a strong advocate for youth hunting education and sport shooting opportunities. The club hosts Hunters Safety classes twice annually in the Spring and Fall and works with the Peninsula Youth Trap Team to grow and retain young shooters. The club encourages families to get involved and become educated, confident and skilled sportmen.
